Here's To Strong Women.



As I was sitting down on this beautiful Monday afternoon (sunny and 83!) I couldn't help but get inspired to write on my blog. As summer has flown by right before my eyes I couldn't help but think that I haven't posted in forever. Today is a good day to share with you all one of my favorite quotes as pictured above.


"Here's to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them." 


I love it so much that it is currently my iPhone screensaver!

When I see this quote I am reminded of some many things. It reminds me of the strong women before me such as my mom, my grandmothers, great-grandmothers, great-great-grandmothers, etc. 
I was raised by the best examples of strong women. 

As I reach the age of having my own daughter I want to be that example for her. I want to show her that she has a line before her of strong and fearless women. She will always have someone to look up to and see what courageous, passionate, beautiful, selfless women she comes from. I hope one day that my daughter will one day continue on this legacy of strong women by reaching her goals and striving to be the best person God created her to be.

Wrapping up I hope you guys are able to see the strong women in your lives today. I hope we can all continue to raise smart, caring, compassionate, kind, loving, friendly, fearless, and strong women for the future!!

Travel Tuesday is back! But wait... it is not Tuesday. I decided I wanted to get this post out right away instead of waiting tell Tuesday.
