4th of July Treats

Hello everyone!
Hope your having a fantastic day so far. Since the 4th of July is coming up {which I believe the proper way is fourth of July} anyways I thought I would share with you some treats to have with your friends and family. Since you have 5 days to create your menu here is your options for sweet treats.

Recipe and How-To

This recipe comes from Mix and Match Mama
All right go to her!

Ingredients:
 3 tablespoons butter
6 cups mini-marshmallows
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
Red and blue food coloring

How to make:
Take your Pam cooking spray and add to an 8x8 inch baking dish and set aside.  Put two cups of cereal into 3 separate bowls.   Set aside.
In a microwavable bowl, melt 1 tablespoon of  butter (about 30 seconds or so).  Once melted, add in 2 cups of marshmallows and coat with melted butter.  Microwave another minute or so until marshmallows are melted.
Remove from microwave and immediately stir in a few drops of red food coloring.  Working quickly, pour the red marshmallow mixture down over the cereal in one bowl.  Mix well and then spread the red cereal mixture across the bottom of your pan.  Pat evenly (I spray Pam on a spatula and pat it down with that).
Repeat the above steps two more times (on the next time, you skip the food coloring for your "white" layer).
After you pat down your third and final layer (blue), you will be able to cut the bars into squares and enjoy!
Get your grubbing on!
